Companion Program

Are you attending the conference with your significant other or other family members? IAWP Calgary has a wide variety of packaged tours and events to make sure you get the most out of your visit.

Companion Event Options

Would you like your companion(s) to join you during the IAWP event functions? A Companion Events Program Package is available and includes a single attendance at the Opening and closing CeremoniesIAWP Awards Lunch and the Gala evening. Alternatively, you can purchase individual function tickets, should they not wish to attend all three events.

Companions can also register separately for the Youthlink Welcome Reception, which takes place on the first night at the Youthlink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre. This event is only available to the first 300 people that register for the event. Youthlink is a leader in youth education and crime prevention and provides a place for families to learn about the most pressing issues of their time and become empowered to make the right decisions to avoid crime and victimization. Youthlink features Alberta’s largest collection of policing artifacts ever placed on public display.

Companion Tour Options

While you are at the conference, your travel companion(s) are well catered for. There are a variety of trip options to choose from which highlight Calgary and the surrounding area. Companion Tours leave daily from August 27 – 29. Please note that there will be limited pick up locations for the companion events. If you have any questions about any of the Companion options please contact us.

Calgary Zoo and Telus Spark
Come and visit one of the premier zoo’s in Canada, located minutes from downtown Calgary on St. Patrick’s Island. After lunch, stroll down to the Telus Spark Science Centre and immerse yourself in hands-on, interactive learning at this renowned science museum.*Registration Deadline: July 15, 2018
