Speaker: Constable Tad Milmine

Tad Milmine is a Police Officer with the Calgary Police Service and is also the creator of the Internationally-recognized program ‘Bullying Ends Here’.  Today, Tad shares his heart-breaking story of abuse, neglect, relentless bullying and struggles with mental health all while being locked in a basement for twelve years while growing up.  Having ‘lived the experience’, Tad has taken all of these challenges and managed to turn them into a positive by sharing his story with youth and adults alike all around the world.  Tad has been the recipient of many prestigious awards, written the best seller ‘Bullying Ends Here – My Life’, been a TEDx speaker and keynote speaker at hundreds of schools, prisons, reserves, corporations and churches.  To date, Tad’s inspirational message is credited with saving 45 young lives and we are thrilled that he is here today to share his story with us.

Cst. Milmine will be speaking at IAWP 2018 on Tuesday August 28th in the afternoon.
