Calgary is honoured to be home to a large variety of parks including 20 in our downtown core alone!
An additional 50 parks are distributed throughout the city in all quadrants. Calgary’s parks are a great way to get outdoors and enjoy nature this summer. Try tennis, swimming in outdoor pools, river walks, rafting and barbequing some famous Alberta beef.
If you want to be immersed in nature head on down to Fish Creek Park, a provincial park in the heart of the city! Enjoy a picnic and campfire, bike through the forest, and watch minnows swim in the river. If you’re lucky you may even spot some other Canadian wildlife such as geese, deer, and beavers.
